Shipmates, we have some new members with LIB that we need to give a welcome to.
First is Chuck Shogren.  Chuck is from New Auburn WI and retired as  a MMC(SS) in the Navy. He qualified on the USS Nathanael Green in 1968 and also served on the USS Simon Bolivar, Thornback, Alexander Hamilton, Shark, George Bancroft, and Tecumseh, plus a tour on the USS Orion.

As  soon as Chuck sends me a picture of himself, I'll put it up in the Image Gallery.


Next is Lannie Hargis.  Lannie and his wife Edit come from Pensacola Fl.  Lanie retired as  a CSCM(SS/SW) and qualified in 1984 on the USS James K. Polk.
Lannie also served on the James Madison, Henry L. Stimson, Woodrow Wilson, and the USS Georgia. Plus the USS Midway, Benjamin Stoddert, Taurus, and the USS Mount Baker. Lannie can be reached at lrhargis@bellsouth.net
We also need a picture of Lannie to put up in the image gallery.

It won't take you long to stow your seabag and get your rack squared away so you can join in on our discussions and hear your input on what ever comes up as well as being a source of countless new sea stories we haven't heard 50 times.
